The Public Faith in the media is reflected in the self-images of Journalists as a watch dog of democratic institutions. Standing outside the system and looking in. one major social malaise that the media has consistently beamed its searchlight is corruption, that debilitating canker warm that has kept many developing countries in a permanent state of destitution. But any treatment of the media and corruption is sure to produce some contradictory pictures.
